Post Th 'ossy bus is 'ere!

Good news for those of you who, like me, have a deep affection for the old Accrington Corporation buses. Corgi have recently launched a scale model of a Leyland double decker in the original livery. At around twenty quid, it's certainly no toy, but it is a beautful replica. It's painted in the famous blue and red colours and features the original coat of arms and a destination board reading 'Oswaldtwistle (Black Dog)' along with lots of other authentic details. Quite a hefty price but you can sometimes pick 'em up a few quid cheaper on ebay. What are you waiting for? Buy yourself a little piece of history!

The red is a bit too orangey isn't it?. ACT buses were more of a claret in those red bits weren't they? I'd be tempted to repaint it and then of course I'd have ruined it as a collector's item.
