Re: That's ASDA Price!!!!

When you shop online you get to browse any special offers and the full list of ingredients are shown, easily readable without squinting at product labels - I always found that reading labels was bothersome in a store - especially if you need bifocals.

It is so much easier to have what you need to know shown on your computer screen.

There is nothing to prevent you store shoppers from looking at your store's website to see and decide what is a 'good buy' before you physically visit a store.

Just been checking the net. They do not show everything they have on the shelf, (ie different brands of the same article) mainly specials, or what they term as specials. The only way to make sure you are getting the best and the cheapest price, is to go into the store and check the bottom line. In that way you will probably find in some cases that specials are not the cheapest, it is just that brand that has been reduced in price.

Re: That's ASDA Price!!!!

coffee is the biggest rip off going,i`m sure there`s a cartel kenco rich roast, one minute it`s £3 for a 150g eco re-fill then it`s over £4.50 while a 200 g jar is £4...then if it`s not cheap at asda it`s cheap at Tesco

Unfortunately this is not always possible because some items (e.g. tomatoes) are in pre-packs and are priced per pack. This should not be allowed. There is no reason why such packs cannot also be priced per 100 grams.
