Hi Eric - just to rub it in, we're having lovely weather here in South Australia - in the mid-20's and low 30's.

Unfortunately haven't been able to go out much to enjoy it as have been nursing sick husband, who is now much improved thank goodness - second (very sudden) attack of pneumonia in 6 months. Spent our (57th) wedding anniversary in Hospital Emergency via ambulance ride. Can think of better places to be, but thank goodness for them.

Hope your weather improves soon.

Saner temps have arrived It's about 9:15 a.m. ... and already up to -7. And, wait for it, it could reach zero today ... although with the breeze, it will feel like, maybe, -4.

Hopefully, we will get a slow melt. There is a helluva lot of snow sitting around; so, flooding is always a possibility.

And now we have to face the potholes It's going to be a bad year for them. City of Kingston officials say that the bill for just patching up could run to over $1 million.
