Well I just watched tonights episode of the baby borrowers and for those who missed it it was the OAPS 3 days ..and it made me think !!!!
Im 42 and kind of in between , ive done elderly care myself but it were so interesting tonight ...there were those who coped with the ie ..ones who could still party and the one who couldnt cope with lets say rubbing cream on scoriosis ridden legs and in general just couldnt handle old people and had ignorance of the elderly once being young.. It really scared me to the extent that I rem being a teenager and I personally would have done anything for the elderly , even though I used to think.."what do they know"..but the way the youth of today is going made me fear for the elderly and ie me getting old ..omg if they are that ignorant now what are they going to be like in 20 yrs time ?? ...im not condeming all youths but watching that tonight was really scary |
