My view is that , for a party that didn't win the election, the Conservatives are pushing through too right-wing an agenda, expecting the Liberal Democrats to go along with them. That is a recipe for disaster, and the current discontent on the Liberals side will only get worse. The novelty of being in power is wearing off, and they will rebel against the unpopularity of the policies they are having to support.
Cameron and Clegg are already starting to give the impression of covering the cracks with spin.
The effect of the cuts in spending will start to hit home in February/March as budgets for 2011/12 are revealed and redundancies made.
Another election in 2011 is looking probable rather than possible..
