Talking The day that Debs socked it to Tony Blair

Just watched Granada Reports with the Prime Minister answering a panel of viewers questions. He was left floundering(ala Bush)when he was trumpeting the use of Community Wardens ,only to be brought back to reality when Debs our Accy representative, pointed out that they were being discontinued in Accrington. He caught a couple of flies whilst struggling to answer.
Well done Debs!!

Oh I wish I'd seen that. Perhaps it's something we should bring up with Greg Pope next time he visits Hyndburnlite.

If you follow the link, the article tells the tale.

Incidentally,a leaflet pushed through the letterbox, informs me that the New Era has an open day this Saturday.
I wonder if Mr. Blair will be there!
