To be honest Gayle, noticed you had them on at a meeting the other night .. and couldn't help thinking ... 'What the ....! ' .. distracted me like .... LOL. Ok ... I am into comfort these days on my feet, but sure there is more attractive footwear that would fit the bill.
I would rather walk barefoot on cinders that wear this abomination of footwear.
Back to the sun, always funny when people finish up with a wristwatch mark or chain mark.

Karma to you, Cashman.
I tried to give you some, Katex but wasn't allowed.

Hope Willow not looking in .. know she was a great fan of these.
Anyway, thank you for the compliment of being a refined lady .. tee hee .. but this is nothing to do with fashion at all.

I introduced Willow to this form of footwear.
Kate I have bought many pairs of sandals which have looked comfy, and for a short time they have felt comfy....but for 6 hours slogging the streets of Edinburgh pushing Ma in the chair....give me my crocs....and I don't care if they look minging....I had not one single blister or chafe......yet a pair of Ravel summer sandals...and three hours walking round the shops in Manchester and my feet were like raw meat.
I chose the sandals because foolishly I thought they were comfy, and because of vanity too I guess.

Re: The flaw with crocs.....
I have Ravel shoes .. and they 'aint comfy .. not meant to be .. LOL.
Found the cheapest of sandals have been the most comfy funnily enough.
I understand you need comfy shoes on your little expeditions with your wonderful ma' ... but I have also had to walk miles in warm summers around the streets of hot cities, trying to look smart when arriving at appointments .. but like I say, have always found footwear that has done the job.
'Horses for Courses' as they say .. just don't want to finish up looking like one ....

I know they're not the most attractive things in the world but.... I have a pair of Jimmy Choo's if I want to look sophisticated. When I was working on Sunday and on my feet from 9am to 7pm, I know which ones I prefer.

Jimmy Choo's against Crocs was not the issue Gayle.

Re: The flaw with crocs.....
Kate, My Ravel sandals felt very comfy in the shop...do you think shoe shops spray something into the air that makes us immune to the pain in our feet????? NO. Of course they don't, we women are fooled by the adrenaline rush and pleasure of the thought of new shoes.
Anyway these sandals are alright for a couple of hours on the hoof, but after that....forget it. I don't understand, they aren't high heels, the leather is soft.....but they always hurt after the said period of time.

Re: The flaw with crocs.....
I had foot surgery many years ago and have never been able to wear high heels since.
I remember those days of pain wearing them, and often wonder why I bothered.
They do make your legs look a better shape - but now I am not seeking to impress anybody
