The flaw with crocs.....
I love my crocs, they're really colourful but most of all they're comfy. I wore them all day yesterday because I knew I would be on my feet all day as i was managing the Rossendale Mela. By the end of the day my feet were fine.
BUT - and here's the flaw..... It was a really, really sunny day (my nose got burnt) and crocs have holes in the top of them. I now look like I have leopard feet where I have lots of small, circular sun tan marks on the top of my feet.

Oh Gayle, I bet that looks funny.
I have those jewel type things in mine so that doesn't happen.

Re: The flaw with crocs.....
Crocs have several flaws to me. First of all, the vile colours they come in. Why are they so hideous? Why are they so wide too? An elephant could fit a foot in one! I have no doubt that they are very comfy but why couldn't they make them a bit more attractive?

Ha! Well, you certainly can't miss this type of croc! If you want your feet to be bright blue and as wide as shovels then these are for you! Lol

Re: The flaw with crocs.....
Lilly they do them in black and in blue too, and they are wide so that your feet are not compressed.
I have a pair of bright(some would say shocking) pink.......I have had them for almost 4years now and they are all but worn out.
I love them, and when I know I am going to be on my feet and walking for long periods I wear them.......and they have never made my feet sweaty, or given me blisters.

You have spoken every word I was thinking including the likeness to elephant's foot' Lilly. Was holding my tongue as know a few of our lady members love them and would probably get backlash .. however, now you have said it will back your post.
To be honest Gayle, noticed you had them on at a meeting the other night .. and couldn't help thinking ... 'What the ....! ' .. distracted me like .... LOL. Ok ... I am into comfort these days on my feet, but sure there is more attractive footwear that would fit the bill.
I would rather walk barefoot on cinders that wear this abomination of footwear.
Back to the sun, always funny when people finish up with a wristwatch mark or chain mark.

Re: The flaw with crocs.....
Kate, my sister brought me mine over from Oz......and my hubby took an instant and abiding dislike of them......that made me all the more determined to wear them.
To be honest, I think you are far too refined a lady to wear this type of footwear....and as far as other forms of footwear being just as comfortable.......well, I like the flyflot shoes as they give a good level of comfort, but because your feet are enclosed, they get sweaty(smelly).......and believe me, there isn't a form of footwear that is more comfortable......Ok, they aren't attractive, but I have got to the age now where comfort comes first.

So have I Margaret ('cept on a night out of course .. will suffer then ... ), but I can always find comfy sandals in Summer, not very expensive as find the 'non leather' type are better; Winter is for boots and court shoes, but need a heel ... can't walk in completely flat shoes. Was just an observation of our likes and dislikes that's all .. just like the conversations we have on tattoos, track suit bottoms, etc.
Hope Willow not looking in .. know she was a great fan of these.
Anyway, thank you for the compliment of being a refined lady .. tee hee .. but this is nothing to do with fashion at all.

You may prefer their high heeled range.
Though I would avoid wearing them with a gingham dress, because if you accidentally clicked them together three times you might find yourself in Oz.

Re: The flaw with crocs.....
I agree they might be comfortable but they ain't that attractive.
They make the 'cornish pastie' shoes worn by unmarried geography mistresses look positively dainty.
