See that's the very problem! You're only surprised because of what you've merely heard about our President. What you are saying (IMO) is either all "God fearing [men]" should be on a witch hunt against homosexuals. Or, since the President is not "on a moral crusade over Cheney's daughter" "lifestyle," he is not a "God fearing man?"

To clarify (IMO), truly God fearing men, fundamental Christians, Bible believing Christians believe that homosexuality is a sin. No better, no worse than any other of the thousands and thousands of things classified as sin. I feel a "true believer" would be wrong, in most instances, to classify (go on a moral crusade against) one sin over another.

In conclusion, I believe that the very fact that President Bush doesn't attack Cheney's daughter makes him more apt to be a God fearing man! (IMO)

Not of topic as such as it shows that everyone has a somewhat quirky view of those in other countries businesses etc. Ok I may have stereo typed GWB into how he comes over to me yet the article is doing in its own way the same thing as implying that they learn from the "others".

"We need to take a cue from White America and re-elect our leadership every four years. White folks realize that power corrupts. That’s why they placed term limits on the presidency. They know if you leave a man in power too long he quits looking out for the interest of his constituency and starts looking out for his own best interest."

Yet there can be staleness corruption and misdeeds in a very short term. What needs to happen is for the 2 gents in question to go back to the shopfloor so to speak and find out what the average JB wants and how they can help.

The best way to discribe the outcome of the Don Imus is brainwashed paranoia let loose just to make a point that if taken in a context without colour involement would have led to a good giggle and nothing else. I do not condone rasism but like many others have made comments that could be construde as racist same asthose who thing its aimed at them do unto others.

Re: THE ills/blindness of Black America!

That's an excellent point Spuggie (and it may sound racist but is not nor is it meant to be) about "White folks realize that power corrupts!" The Black community is very forgiving and very trusting. The Black church I attend has shown this time and time again.

They have so many of their young people in prison. Either because of drugs, stealing, driving offenses, etc. When they get out, all is totally forgiven and forgotten. I've seen sometimes within weeks, these guys are right back doing drugs, selling drugs, stealing, then right back to prison.

If some of these Moms, Grandmoms, or some fathers would hold these troubled people accountable and disciplined, they would be more apt to straighten out their lives.

Same goes for the Black Leadership, once they accept someone or something as good, it is VERY hard to change their minds. (Kinda odd as they love Abe Lincoln but somewhere along the road got turned away from his Republican party). I mean, Jesse Jackson walked with Dr. Martin Luther King (who I do have a great deal of respect for but he did have his own misgivings).

It'd be like trying to convince an older strict Catholic that maybe the Pope is not God incarnate. Okay, I believe I'm rambling now . . . . Sorry!

Brian
