Re: the inevitable harry potter thread...
Not seen it yet Mani so I can't comment yet. I've seen alot of trailers for the film and it looks pretty good to me but I'm a big fan of Potter anyway!

Re: the inevitable harry potter thread...
Isn't it supposed to be a 12a because there are some scary bits? We're hopefully going to see it on Monday. Just watched the TV 'behind the scenes' prog tonight and it looks good.

Re: the inevitable harry potter thread...
I know lots of people rave about the books and the films, infact I've bought all the books for my godson over the years, but it just doesn't float my boat.
I'd much rather read the book, or see the film, about how J. K. Rowling sat penniless in an Edinburgh cafe and wrote a book that made her millions and millions of pounds.

Re: the inevitable harry potter thread...
It's brilliant I took my 7 year old he wasn't scared at all willow. I think the 12a certificate is because of 2 swear words which I can live with. I must admit I thought they would have made a bit more of Hagrids 'romance' but as the guy on T.V last night said, because the book was so long they just concentrated on HP's story. Films are never as good as the books

Re: the inevitable harry potter thread...
I liked it, although I find it difficult to sit in those seats for three hours, specialy when it's so full so I can't put my feet up! Hence I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have... As mentioned I think it's 12a because theres a couple of swear words, theres no particular scary parts.. although the guy next to me jumped a few times

Re: the inevitable harry potter thread...
I thought the scene with Harry and Moaning Mytle was a laugh.Enjoyed the movie now all we need for her to do is write book 7 then make the rest of the movies the way they did Lord of the rings (at the same time)

Re: the inevitable harry potter thread...
Sorry, can't stand Harry Potter. Had to see the first two and found them pretty boring. Rather watch paint dry.

My daughter is determined to see it wether I take her or some one else. It is getting very infectious this Harry Potter Disease (Harrious Potterious cantgetenoughicus).

Re: the inevitable harry potter thread...
I haven't seen it yet. I promised Sparks that I'd wait until he got home from France then we can see it together..... I love the Harry Potter books and films. I suppose I'm a big kid at heart, but I can't wait to see the Chronicles of Narnia, filmed in NZ so the scenery will be amazing...
