The mind boggles

I think I'm going to stop watching news channels and reading newspapers. The latest offerings on News 24 this morning were that the Cheif Constable of Derbyshire has refussed to publish photos of two escaped murders, in case it infringes the human rights act. Then down in Stroud in Glos. a i5 year old lad was playing football with his mates when the wind blew the ball onto a passing car, the police were called and the lad was locked in a cell for a few hours. I am now going to lie down in a dark room and refleck on todays Britain

What about the human rights of the victims of these two thugs, what about the human rights of their next possible victims, the whole world has been stood on its head, do we blame the EEC again, since we joined this rag bag woolly hatted bunny hugging brigade all you hear is human rights. As for the must have, impossible to do without ultra polluting status symbol, the motor car, the damned things have more rights than humans.

Well, we're in agreement (again.)

Not publishing the photographs of escaped convicted criminals, because it might infringe their human rights, is ludicrous.

So ludicrous and outrageous infact that I might move to Tonbridge Wells and start buying the Daily Mail.

Re: The mind boggles

Didn't we once used to have "Wanted" posters for escaped criminals? Human rights? Poppycock!

Re: The mind boggles

I don't usually have much that's good to say about the tabloids, but apparently the Sun has published their photographs. Good for them.

Similar infact to when the Daily Mail published the photographs of the young men that didn't 'murder' Stephen Lawrence.

If these prisoners try to sue the paper, perhaps this stupidity about the legality of these so regarding human rights can be sorted out once and for all.

Why do we care about the human rights of convicted murderers? It baffles me, they should no longer have any rights, PC brigade again
