Re: The origins of man

The 'spectacular news release' that was supposed to happen today, and will be the topic of the TV documentary, is just about the fossil and is not about DNA, so for that I am not going to the trouble of reconnecting my tv to its ariel, nor plugging it in.
Primate Fossil Could Be Key Link in Evolution - ABC News
I might watch it on BBCi if I get bored watching grass grow

Re: The origins of man

The best place to spot the missing link is outside some public houses at throwing out time on a Friday night

Re: The origins of man

Just seen it on the news and well it is going to cause a lot of heated debate and that is among scientists. Cant wait for the religous fall out from it.

You mean the religious zealots will be countering with "The Lord made the world in six days and on the seventh he rested" seems he's been resting ever since, looking at the state of the world these days, but I blame Adam and Eve and that bloody apple myself

Sorry but, I lost all interest in your arguments Margaret, when I looked at The Canadian National Newspaper, strange thing that, they have lots regarding the 9/11 attacks. The normal stuff, inside job, no planes ever hit the towers, bombs etc....
Now if you want to read something more stimulating, try Private Eye

Sorry Jay but there is still no mention of an apple in the Adam and Eve sketch.

No Maggie, I'm always in trouble for my so called humour, it's just that at one time it wasn't from you.
