Re: The Oxford English Dictionary
How about "Jaysayism" as a new word?

But encompasses so much more in its rich variety of expression.

Exactly Sue, an important part of the "Jaysayism" is the complete lack of intention when pronouncing them -a sort of sponteneity bordering on the naif!
A good example which springs to mind being Dudget instead of Budget - surely a dudget deserves to exist in the collective national vocabulary -it has that certain "Je ne sais qua?!" (pardon mon Francais!)
I fear the OED may have to set up a whole new collection just for Jaysayisms -I envisage teams of researchers trawling Accyweb for them -could take decades to compile!

OED will just give it to Collins to turn into a foreign language phrase book.

Tabernac! Jaysayisms are migrating to other languages
On a semi-serious note: There is actually an OED of Canadian English. Turns out that "cougar" (as in "old broad looking for boy toys" ) and "stud muffin", are actually Canadian coinages.
