Yeah, but the wheels have fallen off, the engine is made in China, compassion has been given the boot and it's on the road to nowhere.

And your trying to tell me that nationalised industries actually worked and paid for themselves, the nationalised industries were all money goblin jobs for jobs sake, white elephants, even now in the NHS the ration pf clinicians to white collar workers is running 1 to 1 for every doctor, nurse etc there's a none productive paper pusher. We live in a capitalist driven world, to try and exist with the clapped socialist system Labour so much idealised would lead to the country being left out in the cold, Socialism doesn't work never has worked unless its been enforced by the rule of the gun and not the ballot box, if you like the way things were I suggest you move to china, they'll welcome you with open arms there, providing to Kowtow and do as your told, when your told, without question.

Are you a Times subscriber?
Most members wont be able to read the story you linked to without subscribing and logging in. A lot of what the story talks about is rubbish anyway

I cannot, for the life of me, see C'mon reading the times...be it online or in the paper version.
It would be like giving pigs cherries.

If you are not a subscriber you can only see the first few lines of the story and will have missed the comment by a Downing Street spokesperson at the end of the story explaining why they don't think its dead.

Well, I am sure we are all familiar with the catchphrase, but that doesn't answer the question that Neil posed.
I fear that is is much as was said...you read a contentious headline and post it without having read anything about the subject, in the publication your link is related to.

Now, now Jay, we all know you won't have a good word said about Labour, even you though can't believe they would even contemplate employing him as their mouthpiece?
He does that party even more harm than your thirteen years of mismanagement speech does to the Torys!

Re: The Tories
Neil you did us all a good turn there. Life is far too short to be reading that sort of drivel.
