Theft by Mobile Phone

This morning got a notice not a message on my mobile, saying i had been awarded 50 smb or summat? to use before midnight and i had had £1 deducted from me balance, Had not a clue what this was n certainly had not authorised it, This phone by the way is o2, so i went down accy to the shop in not the best of moods, Was told that "ALL" modern phones had internet on, I neither use or want it, n was not informed of this when i got the phone says i, The lad says my phone has given the permission, cos it has internet on it, Not having it says i, this is no different from me stopping someone in the street n taking £1 from their pockets,it is theft. The lad then took me mobile n started messing wi it fer a few mins, said i have removed it from yer phone n this should not happen again, But i'm still £1 down. Paris n her lad are also wi O2 n they aint got one of these notices, but it makes me wonder how many people have? I would assume most older folk dont use internet on mobiles, n probably most can't be bothered on christmas eve,to kick up about it? I reckon O2 musta made a few hundred grand today out of what i regard as THEFT.

talking of scams, last Thursday I had a phone call purporting to be from the fire service, it was about 6-30pm. they just said could they gain entrance to my property so they could check the electrics and fire risks, I just said sorry my carers have bedded me down for the night you will have to make an arranged daytime visit, they just said they would leave it to the dayshift to arrange it, until now I haven't heard a thing, makes you think don't it
