things are looking up

Just had a leaflet pushed through my door from the Lancashire Constabulary which read
a car was damaged on the car park of Mallard Place on the evening/night Sunday 23rd March 2008 (Easter Sunday) can you help? did you see anything? did you hear anything? help the Police to bring the offender for this crime to justice please contact. then it gives a PCs name telephone number Ref. no or contact crime stopers anonymously
I have to say I live right next to the car park and never saw or heard a thing, but at least the police are on the job, this is a first and lets hope not the last occasion this happens

Being a bit of a cynic, can I ask, why, the Chief Constable had parked on that particular car park?
