New Conservative peer Howard Flight has issued an "unreserved" apology for saying child benefit changes would encourage the poor to "breed".

Is this the same chap that was de-selected prior to the last election for suggesting that the government was borrowing and spending to much money and that a future government would have to raise taxes.

It would appear he was right on that occasion,Time will tell on this one.

As far as know we still live in a country that allows people to have opinions.

Some say he is and I must admit that I know of large family's that have more than one residence paid for by the state and do very well out of it.

Oh sorry that's the royals they don't count nor indeed do MP's and members of the House of Lords.
