this must be opposed by all political persuasions

i know i go on about tories etc,but this seriously needs to be opposed. all political persuasions need to unite and fight this tooth and nail. this is a step too far British sovereignty ?at risk? from EU-US trade deal: UK in danger of surrendering judicial independence to multinational corporations, warn activists - UK Politics - UK - The Independent .

I wouldn't worry about it. NAFTA is now 20 years old; and it hasn't harmed our sovereignty one damned bit. Remember Iraq? We decided not to go ... so did Mexico as far as I know; but you guys kissed Bush's ass and said "Ok, we'll be right there." And, by the way, the EU has already inked a trade deal with Canada; so, pretty soon you guys will all be saying "eh", watching hockey instead of soccer ... which would be a bonus ... drinking Tim Hortons coffee, wearing toques, and eating poutine.

If Brits are worried about losing sovereignty, they should be eyeballing Brussels, and probably Berlin, not Washington.
