I dont like the Dunlop Belt look (great name Rindy) it seems to be a bit of a trend at the moment, though only in young girls, hopefully I'd never go out looking like that, though I'm sure Lettie would tell me!

I don't know when the fashion started for wearing the eight inch 'Dunlop belt', all I can say is it must be warm, as it's seen in all weathers, even snow.

I've read through this thread very carefully and been slightly reluctant to join just in case it damages any of my serious political aspirations but I'm afraid I can't hold back any longer.

You have to question the reason why people wear thongs and it's to avoid VPL - it's one or the other and I know which one I find most ugly.

Wear no knickers at all.... This is the cheapest option but not suitable for brunettes wearing white trousers.....Unless the trousers are lined.......or

Wear your grandmother's old bloomers. No VPL plus they keep your belly and tops of your legs nice and warm. Hmmmmm, maybe my nan was on to something.

I agree with you Gayle visable VPL is awful, for that reason I will still wear a thong under trousers, but I always try to make sure no-one else can see it.
