Re: Three Little Pigs
I was chatting about this to a Muslim and a Sheikh on Saturday. Both of them said that it was ridiculous that someone would get offended (or think that anyone could get offended because a pig was in the story. This is what the Muslim said, 'if you waved a bacon butty in my face then yes, i might take it as an insult, but if you tell an age old, traditional, story that has a farmyard animal as it's central figure then what right have i to object or be offended?'
I honestly don't think that it's Muslims or Sheikhs or any other representatives from ethnic religions that are demanding/requesting that these restrictions/bans are made. We all agreed that it was probably a load of do gooders who were doing more harm than good.

Re: Three Little Pigs
agree entirely with Gayle on this, the P.C./ do gooders are far more trouble than there worth as far as harmony in this country goes.

Re: Three Little Pigs
Yet more PC madness from yet another government quango.
However, I've yet to hear of one muslim expressing offence at this or any other children's story. And, in the end, the Three Little Pigs haven't been banned...it's just a computer game based on the story that has failed to win an award from a Government-sponsored organisation. Why don't the Government threaten to withdraw their sponsorship if this sort of lunacy continues? Or is that too much like common sense?

It was recommended long ago that Baa Baa "black" sheep be changed to rainbow sheep, doesn't have the same ring to it somehow.

Re: Three Little Pigs
I've never seen any Muslims protesting outside a bookshop selling The Tale of the Three Little Pigs.
Though I do remember the protests outside cinemas showing The Life of Brian.
