Actually it's the support that I find uncomfortable Margaret... always found it constricting. I'm a great fan of gravity!
Totally agree - there are genetic factors at work as well but it can't be good to wear something tight all the time - and as for wearing a bra in bed...

Oh, I wouldn't wear a bra in bed...that is the time my mammaries get to roam where-ever they want....

Well said Margaret -my quip about perfect silouhettes was just that -to be taken with a pinch of salt.
My own silouhette will never be perfect and never has been, but comfort, support and a bit of help never does any harm and it boosts confidence as well as other things.
Never heard of the Ahbra nor have i worn a Wonder-bra -am a traditional kind of girl and prefer a well-fitted Playtex or an Italian make called Loveable. My M&S three-way bra was also a great buy for summer dresses which have cross-straps, halter-neck or are strapless...
I just wish i'd been around when the Empire-line was all the rage...hides a wealth of sins because of where it draws the eye too. All those heaving bossoms and Mr. Darcys at every turn -those were the days.

Gravity is fine as far as keeping things in order in the Universe is concerned - but really i wouldn't want to risk looking like this...(see atachment!)
Cross you heart, Lift and separate Sue that is my motto!

If I had ever found anything to wear in that region that was comfortable I might have persisted but I never have. I don't like tight fitting clothing of any description. I suppose it's saved me money going for the natural look considering the price of some undergarments nowadays.
To those women in your picture that is a perfectly natural and acceptable look - until they are indoctrinated by Western culture.

Another reason why I'm glad I wasn't born in the Congo, Sue!

Hahaha, Steve.
Go without a bra ! Wash your mouth out, Margaret. Seen a few who do this and it looks terrible. Can't keep me eyes off the lumps around their waist... lol.
No, will request a bra under my shroud.... my last 'proud' moment...tee hee.

Re: Throw your bras away, ladies
I seem to be in a minority of one here. So what's new?

Nothing wrong with that sue....anyway there are two of you MargaretR doesn't wear one unless she has to.
Nothing at all wrong in thinking for yourself, and choosing what suits you rather than being led by fashion or convention.

Mine haven't reached Birmingham yet.
A sports 'bra' will suffice when they do.
Some women have bigger problems than others.

Re: Throw your bras away, ladies
I've found some called 'Confortisse' no wires, hooks straps etc... just a very strong elastic material that's fantastic to wear. Any of you men interested in buying???
