I like the look of that one too Janet but I think I'll wait for it coming on Sky

I was dragged kicking and screaming all the way to Bury last night to watch Green Street. I was very dubious about the film to say the least .... not another footy hooligan film! I REALLY enjoyed it!! I was engrossed all the way through!!

It's not for the faint hearted, it's quite violent and not your namby pamby Hollywood fights either, proper good old English scrapping, which had me winceing quite loudly, much to mtheads amusement

Elijah Wood AKA Frodo played a convinceing West Ham supporter and I give the film 8/10 because the only thing missing was Gollum/Smeagol, I would have liked to have seen him playing a part as a Millwall hooligan

I enjoyed it too, but thought it was a bit of a weak ending. How did they all cope? Where did they go? Did they get jobs? How did society cope with it? --- too many unanswered questions.

Re: Tinks&Slinks Film Critics

Bewitched i would give a 6 / 10.It slow moving and not a big improvement of the series from the 70's.One i watched on Sky and found hilarious was ' The sex lives of the Potato Men 'Johnny Vegas was a scream.Herbie i would give a 9/ 10 as it reminded me of my youth and some happy times i had.

Re: Tinks&Slinks Film Critics

Just got back from watching The 40 year old virgin....................

Omg how funny is this film. Tears were streaming down my face at most of it.
Slow starting, thought it wasn't going to be as funny as i had been told, but wasn't disappointed after a while as it was hilarious.

This film i will give a 9/10. Typical male stuff.........things they actually would do and say.

Would highly recommend anyone to go and watch it.

Re: Tinks&Slinks Film Critics

I went to the cinema this lunch time hoping to watch Pride and Prejudice, when i went to buy the ticket i was told that they had not received the the film reel yet. So that was a wasted journey, but to my delight i was given a free ticket so i can see it at another date for nothing.

Re: Tinks&Slinks Film Critics

Well I took the kids to watch the WILD on Sunday. It isn't the best film I have watched. Some tongue in cheek moments, the kind that go right over the kids heads and straight to the parents.
It had its V. funny moments. The kids loved it though, so anyone with kids I recommend this film.

Bloody expensive day out. I will be taking them to watch OVER THE HEDGE when it is released. The snippets I have seen look very funny, so I will post my opinion on that later in the month.
