Brown has lost the plot and the pound has fallen on I'ts arse.
The Banks are in a sorry state....Employment has plummeted to the lowest level in many a year...more firms going bust.
If you are taken in by the bullshine I fear for our future.
Time for a change and get these clowns out.
Cant blame the government for the failings of our sports teams but the broader issues need to be addressed.

I thinks there is enough evidence without resorting to Sport to show this Gov is incompetant. The question is whether any of the others is up to teh job either.......

Maybe not but we can blame them for not helping. Many countries support there sports people a lot more than we do. Whether we agree that our money should be pumping into a football or cricket team is a different matter.

1966, eh ...... England seems to have a lot in common with the Toronto Maple Leafs .... ah well, with climate change hell might just freeze over and then watch out ....

But it does seem that tying a national govt's performance to success on the field (or the ice) is stretching things a tad ... we have a crappy govt at the moment, even though Canada regularly wins the hockey world championship
