Re: today I phoned the police regarding a drunk driver
I agree with everyone else - you did right. Its not just kids its anyone who could have been walking across the road or even the path if he totally lost control. It could have been your mum or dad or sister or brother.

Well done Glasgow Guy. You did the right thing and probably saved a life or two whilst doing so.
You colleagues who are calling you a grass are probably either drink drivers themselves or they're just dangerously stupid..

They're probably criminals. If I was you Glasgow Guy, I would keep a close eye on my wallet at work because from the sound of your workmates its very likely to get nicked.

Re: today I phoned the police regarding a drunk driver
Well done Glasgow Guy, without a doubt you did the right thing, these drink and drive merchants are the scum of the earth, they have no regard for the consequences of their actions and they cause untold misery, in my opinion they should be shot to prevent them from re offending. Don't feel bad about it because a bunch of half wits think you are a grass, you did the general public a good turn, good on you mate!

Re: today I phoned the police regarding a drunk driver
Totally the right thing to do - they sound like a right unsociable pair - giving everyone aggro in the shop and then shouting at you from their car. I'm glad that the police actually did something aswell - you hear too many stories about when they do nothing so it's a nice surprise!

Re: today I phoned the police regarding a drunk driver
You should be proud of yourself. Well done. I would grass any driver up for drinking and driving.

That's the point. A lot of people wouldn't have done.

Well got to disagree there with the assumption that normal people would have done the same as you. A lot of people would have turned the other cheek and gone about their business without giving it a second thought. Yet if something like a crash involving a child was tmentioned and some knew why it happened it would have been the "what if" senario. You showed what should have been done and can hold your head high.
