some efforts from me. A little flare but thats down to lens construction. Forgot to say, these are on a 300mm lens at 30 second exposures, F9.0 and ISO 100, no tripod, just resting on the garden wall

I've been out there shivering to death and resting my camera on a makeshift 'tripod' consisting of wheelie bin and glass recycling box because I couldn't hold the flippin thing steady! Even so I couldn't keep it perfectly still - moral is prepare in advance with proper tripod!
Anyway here's the result.

those are good mate..I used a canon 350d with a sigma 70 - 300mm lens
but I cheated and used a tripod in the upstairs front bedroom..hope the neighbours across the way didnt think I was spying on them...
