To Errr is human, (Congrats to both of you, you passed the test),

To do Er', no matter what culture you are from is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!

We have got passed the Human rights when people like that are defended and their consequences ruin the lives of innocents.

(and I'm sure that, given the chance, to reply, every right minded Asian would agree with the above).

Come on Mani, bring your thoughts to the debate, (Oh, and if you could bring some of your mates as well, perhaps we could have a well rounded conversation about whites and blacks? (Oh no, sorry your not black are you, how embarrassing, please excuse my natural, (though perfectly understandable white supremacy!)))

(Wow, only just got away with that by the skin of my teeth! Still, he won't understand my prejudice, after all he is, the wrong colour).

You don't count becaus as has been said you've opted out It would be nice though to see our concillors joining in and giving their views on topical issues even if their views don't match their parties views. Not holding my breath but would make a pleasant change

Which would make perfect sense, if he hadn't dipped his toe in the water, made three attempts to dive in, then decided to go in search of his towel.

Why on earth should Mani's opinion matter, or count for more than anyone else's?

Did I miss the elections, in which various members of Accy Web are now the offical spokesperson on any given discussion?

Catholic, women, widower, gay, lesbian, American, single parent. Do we have a representative from each group, whose opinion is crucial to any debate which touches on those subjects?

As a hardworking Accy lad, and family man, I'm sure Mani does have an opinion on this scrote...just like everyone else.

What group do you now speak for Less?

Exactly.

It's about someone guilty of heinous crimes, who is a foreign national, and who has been granted the right to stay here because of his 'human rights'.

Er, he said, for dramatic effect, can be used as an interjection, and is listed in the dictionary.

Er - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary

Though thanks for you, er...help.

Re: Tough on Crime, Tough on the Causes of Crime

Human Rights Act

The Human Rights Act 1998 gives further legal effect in the UK to the fundamental rights and freedoms contained in the European Convention on Human Rights. These rights not only impact matters of life and death, they also affect the rights you have in your everyday life: what you can say and do, your beliefs, your right to a fair trial and other similar basic entitlements.
Most rights have limits to ensure that they do not unfairly damage other people's rights. However, certain rights – such as the right not to be tortured – can never be limited by a court or anybody else.
You have the responsibility to respect other people's rights, and they must respect yours.

It is immaterial of the persons Race, Religion colour or creed, the human rights act is there for all. The principle is worthy when applied correctly & judiciously, sadly in the UK it is so abhorrently enforced by misguided, over zealous self serving whining bigots so steeped in their own self importance & to the detriment of the victims, that it has lost its validity.

Far to much weight is given to the first paragraph (As this suits the bleaters cause) that the second & truly relevant paragraph is conveniently forgotten, left aside or just plain ignored ! as I have stated elsewhere you break the conventions & rules of a society you therefore forgo any claims to that societies leniency & protection.

How dare someone stand forth & plead for "Their Rights" when they have totally disregarded the rights of others & brought misery, despair & loss to someone else or their Family. As to those who represent these scum ! They should share the punishment of their defendants on the rare occasion when justice is properly served ! Or maybe be held responsible for said defendants behaviour over a specific period. Perhaps then they wouldn't be quite so keen to support these creatures !
