That's the European style plaza.
Sadly, because it's nearly always in the shade, and the wind whistles down through there, the planned al fresco cafes didn't materialise.
Though we do have the wine bar as you say.
If you sit there, you'll always get helpful advice from one of the sommeliers.
Usually telling you that that seat is reserved, for one of the regular clients.

Counted eight empty shops just on one side of Little Blackburn Road yesterday. When are the council going to do something to try and alleviate this problem? The town is a bigger eyesore every time you look round

Problem is that they are too busy pandering to the market hall and forgot theres other equally needed businesses around the town that need encouragement or help. Accy is becoming one huge mess

Thought it was a competition - Market Hall v Town Centre shops - which has got the most vacant premises/stalls

There is one new shop opening.
Lady Clitheroe's on Union Street.
Says 'High class clothes at bargain prices'.
Let's just hope it's not another Frocky Horror Show.
