Re: Town Centre Planters
They have been re-arranged!
The ones in front of the Market Hall look much better now. I think the ones from in front of Boots have been moved further up Broadway and they all do seem to be better placed now.
I took a few more pics this afternoon.

That looks much better - quite like them now - It would have been easier to position them BEFORE they were filled -perhaps the Parks Dept read Accy Web and noticed our comments.

Re: Town Centre Planters
It looked to me that they wanted them in place before the carnival weekend, so they were just dumped by the workmen. I`m glad they are sorting them out now, now sort out the little **** who vandalise them.

Re: Town Centre Planters
Any vandals caught damaging them should be made to dress up as Bill and Ben, and have to water them all with a little pink watering can.

Yeah with pink fluffy slippers
Got to say the ones outside Mercer Hall in Harwood look really good. (I do realise the irony of me praising an act by a tory council BTW ).

Now that would be poetic justice. I would love to see it.

Yes but were they re-arranged or did they re-arrange themselves, I was in town the other day when one mysteriously appeared behind me when I'm sure it wasn't there a few minutes before!

Well we did say we thought it looked like an episode of Dr. Who when they first appeared.

Re: Town Centre Planters
Were they referring to the episode outside Boots? One of those in Church Street looks like it has had some plants removed.

Re: Town Centre Planters
Have seen the ones in Ossy now. I like the ones at the bottom of Rhyddings Street, but the ones at the Co-op look like they've been dumped, I like things symmetrical!! lol. But maybe they're doing what they did with Accy and will reposition them in a few days??
