Traffic cops get new selective vision kits!

I was behind a traffic police cars today for the whole length of Blackburn road and i counted 13 cars/vans parked on double yellow lines. Most of them were parked outside kebab shops or a-z car careand id say over 2/3 contained a person of ethnic origin or two. Most of the cars didnt bother with hazards and what do the police do? Nothing! But get to church traffic lights and they shop a biker for having a small number plate. Didnt they see all those cars? are traffic cops really that blind? Or is it because of something else? hmmmm i wonder

Tadah, did you get the police car reg number? they adverstised a zero tolerance policy on this, report it to the head of Traffic at Accrington as he wasn't doing his job.

I've rung them a few times when I've seen stuff that should have been dealt with and each time the sergeant thanked me for letting him know

If you feel that you would rather not give your name I believe they will still deal with it.

They prefer the speeders its more fun. Besides they might decide to leave the parking issues to Traffic Wardens.

thats a lame excuse , surely if a vehicle is causing an obstruction or impeding traffic its the responsibility of any police officer to take the required action , using that excuse, 'that we are only on moving violations' doesn't excuse them from taking action if they come across a bank robbery in progress or any other crime , it's more likely they are on a quota system where they have to issue a certain number of moving violations per shift ......not that anyone from the Police HQ will admit to it
