same here just go on virgin website 2 weeks before get a supersaver they are limited so you have to be quick £26 from accy to preston, preston to glasgow ,glasgow to irvine and back yeehaa plenty of beer money left over:Banan e04::Banan e37:

All that is needed is a bit of forward planning and no real restrictions on travel times. Flashy with a family card gets good deals and we get to and from Scotland as cheap. Yes they are limited but its def worth the little time spent on the net and if no net access the station ticket office can be as good.

Proof is in the pudding as they say.

Keep on thinking i should apply for the disabled railcard. Will have to get a letter from the doctor again.

Disabled Person's Railcard

There you are bernadette. It costs £18 per year or £48 for 3 years. If you read the website it will tell you what proof you need. Its nicely timed this i go and pick a prescription up tomorrow all i have to do is photocopy it. Dont need photo's either and when i rang up today and asked they said i dont need a photo either. Also with the disabled railcard for a companion travelling with you they get the discount as well.

been down today and booked my tickets for Thursday, it works out at £17.15 for me and £4.95 for Reece and i'm also taking my nephew seen as its his birthday, so another £4.95....£27.05 for three of us upto Edinburgh and back is damn good going

ok been to edinburgh today and it was great, think i may go to nottingham tomorrow, only £13.85 for me and reece from manchester on the train

I got my disabled railcard today. When I rang them up they said 15 working days for it to arrive. I only posted it last thursday first class though and ive got it today. Not bad service.
