uuuuuughhh!!!! Remember having tripe and vinegar as a kid at my Nan's house. Disgusting is just not a strong enough word, my stomach still churns thinking about it..

Re: Tripe.
Is'nt it funny how the same subject can all of a sudden appear in two entirely unrelated threads at the same time? I'm referring, of course, to this thread and also the one about the England footy team & Mr David Beckham.
No matter, if you like spicey Mexican food, could I suggest you try "Menudo Soup"....it's a lovely spicey soup comprised of tripe, sweetcorn, chilies...there are several variations on the recipe & I have my own (which changes each time I make it) but I think you'll be able to get the gist if you type in Menudo on the search engine.

I wonder if Posh sprinkles Becks with vinegar before she.....how can I put it? Devours him.

Re: Tripe.
The only way to eat it in my opinion is cold with salt and vinegar. Black tripe is best.

Re: Tripe.
Only had it a couple of times and I neither think it taste bad or good! It doesn't taste of anything in my opinion - you need vinegar on it to give it a modicum of flavour. It is cheap though.
