Offal? Awful.
I have tried most things, hee hee. Once was quite enough. I didn't like blackpudding once, but can now just about get it down. Apparently tripe is meant to be good for you, but I watched a programme about an abattoir and it showed them removing the cows stomach and dipping it in a bath of bleach to make it nice and white. It didn't exactly make me want to run off down the market to try it again. Give me snails/escargot in a garlic butter sauce anyday.

I was a veggie for a good number of years, and although I do eat meat again now, I do struggle with it. I eat very little red meat, and I could never eat anything that resembles wot it once was. When I go food shoping I rarely ever buy meat, but if I'm out and about and its there I possibly would eat some.

We used to have tripe with vinegar for Saturday tea when I was a child. I liked elder and honeycombe, special treat was lambs trotters, got some a few weeks ago on Accy market and made my daughter cringe when I ate them. Black Pudding with english mustard...mmmmm, delicious. Dad used to have a boiled sheeps head..... disgusting, hated it when he popped the eyes on the roof of his mouth... ugh!!!
