Read this yesterday about a little girl who was killed by a TV.
Her father was carrying it downstairs and dropped it accidently...hitting her on the head.....

Re: tv kills girl

This was obviously a freak accident but the guilt on the dad's part must be unbearable. What a tragic thing to happen.

Re: tv kills girl

This really strains faith ... and the optomistic belief that if one does the right thing, good things will happen, good deeds will be rewarded ... from what I read into the report; here was a man trying to do the best for his kids, most probably the kind of guy one thinks about when the term "good parent" comes up .... and this happens. Terrible.

I don't really understand what you're getting at, Neil.

What has somebody believing in God got to do with this accident?

He shouldn't go to prison for this, it was a very tragic accident. The poor man will suffer for the rest of his life, he has lost his child and will feel guilty enough without suffering further punishment
