I agree with Cashman except on the point of being jailed then deported, why should we keep them, deport them straight away and never let them back into the country.

Take away their passports, then they won't be able to go back to India for further IVF.

It deeply saddens me the way some people regard girls as a disappointment and even unwanted. When I had my first daughter I got a 'congratulations' card and inside the sender had actually put 'better luck next time' - the next time I had a girl too and I don't think I even got a card from that family.

I know that a boy carries 'the family name' and all that but if these dopes think about it they need women more than they need men because the women are the ones who actually have the babies. I hope these two never get chance to try again and are severely punished for their treatment of these two helpless little ones.

I totally agree with you Bernie, the thing is these people went to India because there is no way they would get the treatment in this country, not at that age, what really narks me is the fact that these so called "unwanted children" were dumped in this country, if doctors in India are prepared to do these things then the same doctors should be responcible for the end product, but the real victims in this ae the poor kids who didn't ask to be born and were dumped on the whim of self centred people who couldn't care less and are prepared to do th same again, the selfish b******

can they do that? I know a few people that have dual nationality, would they be able to take both passports?

A West Midlands couple who allegedly dumped their twin baby girls after travelling to India for IVF treatment are visiting them in hospital, an NHS spokesman insisted today.

The parents are “attentive to their needs” despite a report that the girls were left at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton after their birth by Caesarean section because of their sex, NHS West Midlands said. A spokesman said: “Shortly after birth, the babies were transferred to a unit in Birmingham closer to where their parents live.

“The parents are visiting their daughters while they are being cared for in hospital and are attentive to their needs.

“For patient confidentiality reasons, the identity of the family and the babies are not being disclosed. The identity of the hospital is not being disclosed.

“We are not aware of a referral to social services.”

Birmingham City Council also said today there had been no referral to social services.

They should be thanking their lucky stars they had two healthy children.
Some people are not lucky enough to have one and many people cannot afford IVF so to me this beggars belief and they should not be allowed to try again in the hope they have a boy.

Nevermind, soon we will be able to genetically engineer our own choice of baby and we wont have to dump them. I want boys too. I wonder if I should wait for science to advance, or just dump the girls.

You find out the sex of a baby at 20 weeks dont you? Maybe I could just abort the girls, that'd be quicker than going full term.

Thats strange, everyone I know seems to find out the sex at the 20wk scan, which included my younger brother and sister. Unless of course it isn't entirely clear, for instances like the umbilical cord being between the legs on the scan and such.

sometimes on the day itself the position of the babies makes it hard to tell too

its to stop abortions based soley on the sex of the child
