I saw the trailer for Open Water. It said it was based on a true story but how? Surely,if the two people were abandoned and both died, who would be able to tell us what happened to them? They might not have had to fight sharks, they might have simply got tired and sunk, or a passing alien ship might have picked them up and taken them to planet Zarg - who knows????
