Two new Krypton Factor style adventure parks
240k Play Park Joy For Hyndburn Youngsters (from Lancashire Telegraph)
Have any of you ever visited one of these? What is different about them (from a normal park)? How much land area will each one need? Where in Accy and Ossy would you think they would be best placed?

Never visited one but from reading the report they seem like a great idea. Lets hope they get kids into the great outdoors and getting the exercise that appears to be lacking in a lot of children these days.

I'd love to see that happening round here, but alas i fear it would be destroyed. Look at Oakhill Park, used to be lovely till some evil person killed all the rabbits.

Looks like a great Idea, but like others have said will these play areas be respected. The point is young people are always saying they have nothing to do, then when an effort is made to provide things like this they just don't respect them. I know from experience that not all young people are the same, but its up to them to make sure that the few bad apples don't spoil things for the majority
