US Presidential Election
Where do we all stand on the US Presidential Elections?
To me, Barack Obama has made some wonderful improvements, not least the radicalisation of universal medical provision. Yes he has had problems, but caused mainly by the world recession.
The right wing reaction to his improvements, as presented through the dreadful "Tea Party" movement, has never impressed me - they seem to be the US equivalent of a group of narrow minded Daily Mail readers -, but more importantly, hasn't impressed the Republican voters. Their likely candidate, Mitt Romney, is hardly a Tea Party Icon.
The latest beting is for Obama 2/5 to be re-elected. I think he can authorise Michelle to plan the redecoration of the White House for the next four years.

Re: US Presidential Election
...and what was that pathetic commnent by Santorum all about? Saying "we decided to withdraw from the presidential election at the kitchen table"?
Who is he trying to convince? Makes you want to throw up.
Dreadful, dreadful man!

Re: US Presidential Election
One way to sum up US politics is that Obama is labled as socialist and even a communist for the simply trying to create some sort of national health service in the USA.

Re: US Presidential Election
Oh no.
It's bad enough over here.
Months on end, reporting all that Ra-ra-ra-ra-raz-zma-tazz!
All show, and very little substance.
Sort of like the Liberal Democrats on ecstasy. If they'd dumped Bournemouth for Disneyland, to hold their annual party conference.
If I'd behaved so badly in another life, that I was a Yankee Doodle Dandy, I'd probably vote for that dark chappy. As the best of a Goddamn awful bunch of tea baggers.
It holds very little interest for me.
Though I know we'll all be indirectly affected by the outcome.
A bit like the X-Factor Final result.

You, they'd hang from a tree.
A very strange fruit indeed.

Happily.
Start running.
I feel a scathing word, poised, and ready to fire out.

Re: US Presidential Election
Anyway, forget Obama, Palin, or whichever born again, former alcoholic, who hasn't been busted with a hooker, that the other lot manage to pin their nomination on.
Are there any stars in the running?
Cruise?
Douglas?
Travolta?
Freaky, from Home Alone?
Not Martha Stewart?
