So you think he's a perv? That would make it even more interesting - him dancing with bent Nigel!

Exactly what we thought gynn, sounded like a pathetic attempt to impress a young lady to us.

Methinks Vince has ten bob on himself....he has an over-inflated opinion of himself.

Re: Vince Cable
There is a temptation to regard Vince Cable, the Business Secretary, as the court jester of the Coalition, licensed to say outrageous things in the great cause of cheering us all up. Unfortunately, the joke is beginning to wear thin. In his sub-Marxist party conference effusion yesterday, Mr Cable sounded less like a Cabinet minister, more like Citizen Smith addressing the Tooting Popular Liberation Front. The “spivs and gamblers” who run the banks and their “accomplices” in the “murky world of corporate behaviour” are part of a “rigged” capitalism that “takes no prisoners and kills competition”. Who would have thought Mr Cable was once chief economist of the Shell oil company? The Liberal Democrat faithful lapped it up – which was, of course, the intention

Re: Vince Cable
When you realise that public opinion is manipulated by the media, you know why it is undesirable for Murdoch to have overall control of a large chunk of it.
This slip of the tongue by Vince Cable makes it more likely that Murdoch will gain control, which makes government manipulation of media easier.
It may well have been a planned 'slip of the tongue'
