Re: Vodaphone Mast in Hollins Lane

Don't forget the Phone mast application for the one in Southwood Drive, you need to protest in writing, petitions are no good, it will only count as one objection.
The objections for the one to the rear of Oak Hill Park, expired to day.
It may just be that the council may not have followed the correct procedure, when these applications were made.

Re: Vodaphone Mast in Hollins Lane

Well todays observer 29.07, letters on page 10 : "800 notices of intent were sent to 02, Vodafone, Lancs County Council & Hyndburn Council, 230 letters of objection all signed by local residents, ... also all the residents who wrote individual letters of objection & sent them directly to the Chief Planning Officer", fingers, toes etc crossed that this was enough, fantastic response from us Joe Bloggs I'd say.

Fantastic news, just goes to show what can happen when people stick together & stand up to these companies, though I think they'll try again before long.
