For those who jammy beggars who received compensation, despite not being affected by the water being turned off, I shall be round for a slap-up Christmas dinner, with all the associated drinks, on December 25th.

I've got quite a few to fit in, but I have you pencilled in for about 11.45 am Beni.

You may have to set off a day or two early.

No, timing's no issue.

I'm getting a lift that day, off some old guy with a magic sleigh, who does a bit of moonlighting for Max Cabs.

See you quarter to twelve-ish.

I got one too, Mick. Was surprised, as being on Direct Debit expected it to be credited through that.

Expect was the easiest and most cost effective way of UU doing this.

Are you on a water meter?
My direct debit stays the same until a price rise happens in April

yes I am on a meter.

The problem started in May when I found the toilet cistern was over flowing. It over flows directly into the drainage system so went undetected for quite some time.

yes I know this practice is not allowed but since when did building control bother about rules when they can turn a blind eye to suit the situation at the time?
