took mountain bike up the old accrington to baxenden railway and i must say it was very nice although the route ove the hills to green haworth could of been signposted better.

anyways does anyone know where i can pick a map up of the cycleways that are around here and maybe a greenlane or bridlepath guide ?

Used to walk my dog up there (Accrington to Bash) every day until the idiots with their pit bulls started using it, after 1 or 2 confrontations gave it up as a bad job, got fed up with all the hassle.

You've just as much right on there as any one else Ossywarrior, you could aways dismount to get past the walkers, trouble is some people think they have a God give rite to certain things, when they are there for all to enjoy
