Well, I'm about to ring Peel House

I need to see a doctor. Whats the betting that a) I won't get through for 30 minutes, b) all appointments for doctors have gone, c) I can see a nurse, THEN get referred to a doctor and d) the receptionist will be a muppet.

I may be gone for some time....

Blimey. I got through after 3 attempts, wasn't put on hold, and got an apointment this morning! No questions asked at all. Do you think maybe they have employed some competent people?!

Good grief Pixie. Did you not take a photo, or record this memorable occasion in some way. They should start selling mementos at Peel House for people who got to see a doctor on the day they phoned. A nice T-shirt perhaps..

I agree with you pixie it must be the weather, I also rang the doctors this morning and also got a appt for this morning, yes you heard me right the same morning. My docs in Gt Harwood and when I turned up at the health centre one of the docs was sat with the receptionists having a natter as he had no patients waiting!!!

Weren't you notified? Surely they should have informed you and let you know whose register you are now on.

Mind you, I haven't seen my own doctor in ages so for all I know he could have done a bunk as well.

When I last saw a doctor at Peel House he said that it was a long time since I last saw him,
I said "I Know, it's cos I've been ill!"

Pixie
I am out of work and signing on. Does that make me a 'dole dosser'?
I was made redundant but was also locked out of my place of work. No notice or anything. Its now in the hands of the unions solicitors. The D.T.I. have sent me a letter stating that they dont actually know who employed me and can 'I supply them with information.'
Please dont tar everyone with the same brush, untill you know all the facts.

John
