What am I supposed to eat?

Been to see a dermatologist this week and she give me a great long list of things I can't eat, anyone tell me what I can have for my tea

Heres most of the list

   	 	 	 	 	 	  
Salicylate Diet
 
 
Avoid the following foods:
 
Apples (except golden delicious)
 
Apricots
 
Bananas
 
grapes
 
Oranges
 
Peaches
 
Prunes
 
Plums
 
Tangarines
 
Blueberries
 
Strawberries (and jam made from these fruits)
 
Rasberries
 
Gooseberries
 
Cherries
 
Currants
 
Raisins
 
Dates
 
Cucumber
 
Peas
 
Tomatoes (and foods containing tomato)
 
All nuts
 
Beer
 
Cider
 
Wine
 
Liquorice
 
Tea
 
Coffee
 
 
Plus Asprin containing drugs
 
 
NB. Fruits allowed in moderation – Pears golden delicious apples, rhubarb, mango, lemon, fig, kiwi-fruit.
 
 
Other things to avoid which may contain a great list of E numbers are:
 
Canned foods
 
Smoked products
 
Food in breadcrumbs
 
Evaporated and condensed milk
 
Artificial cream
 
Red cheese
 
Cheese spreads
 
Flavoured yogurt
 
Margarine except E free eg Bleband |(do they still make that stuff??)
 
Vegatables
 
Fizzy lemonade
 
Coca Cola
 
Coffee with chicory
 
Vending machine drinks
 
Fruit squash
 
pickles
 
Mustard
 
Curry powder
 
Bottled sauces
 
Salad cream
 
mayonaise
 
Jam, Marmalade, lemon curd
 
Ice cream and ice lollies
 
Jelly
 
Custard
 
Blancmange
 
Instant puddings
 
Cake mixes, tinned, packet and shop products
 
Semolina
 
Tinned and packet soups
 
Bought biscuits
 
Yellow pasta
 
Cheap red wine, Vermouth Eg Martini, or coloured liqueurs
 
Coloured sweets and filled chocolates
 
Use only white toothpaste, non with colours in
 
 
and to top all that lot I haven't to use lipstick or make-up that contains vegatable dyes

Looking at that you're not meant to eat, thats a long long list of what not to eat, think it would have been eaiser for them to tell you what you could eat

There may be some good news, this is an absolute list, I am guessing that you can re-introduce some of them once they are out of your system, that way you may find the actual cause of whatever symptoms you have, my doctor always blames everything on ciggies, even when I broke my wrist he said smoking would slow down the healing process! A**e and elbows spring to mind!

By the time their out of my syatem I will have starved to death but I know what your saying.
You know smoking is one thing they never mentioned to me, I was surprised too
