What do you do...

in your spare time as a hobby?i have had a few that have kept me occupied for a while-
when i was at college me and my friends used to buy beads and make bracelets (have competitions to see who could make the cheapest-and tackiest ones, as we were all mega skint).still got some of them

Playstation2/sims2 on PC kept me busy for a while but that soon got boring so i sold them.

Got into wildlife and animals for a bit so used to visit animal sanctuaries/nature reserves down south which was fun(yeah im old before my time) but doesnt seem to be alot up here,unless someone can tell me otherwise.

I read alot ( as much now as in the past) but its hard trawling shops for books with an easily bored toddler in tow.

So what do you do/have done as a hobby?

FLY FISHING the kind that catches trout for tea not the other kind. Like history and horror books. Oh and have an addiction to Accy Web.

I am a gardener in my leisure time. I love growing things and I don't even mind the hard work - I'd sooner dig a border than do housework (when I have the choice). I also write, when it's too wet to garden, and have a stock of short stories and articles I'm too lazy to try to get published.

I like making little emoticons too. It's surprising what you can come up with for specific occasions.

One of my favourite craft items are corn dollies. I've had hysterics teaching people how to make those.

volunteer work with the credit union, jigsaws, accyweb and the net, but the main one is reading.

I used to do jigsaws to unwind when the kids were little, nowadays since I shattered my wrist I enjoy a bit of walking and I have pinched a bit of the hubbys allottment to grow all my own flowers ,I appreciate them more than the shop bought ones.
Oh and not to forget my addiction to accyweb

When I'm not working....I'm xmas shopping......when I'm not xmas shopping I'm asleep dreaming about it lol............

Seriously though!! when I do get a BIT and I mean a BIT of spare time I like to read Martina Cole books.....ya know some nice bedtime reading hehehe Gangsters and blood and guts

( no wonder I can't sleep anymore lol)

i think my next hobby might be jigsaws,i hate evenings alone now,its so boring.Once jack has gone to bed its like the world stops for me.god im moany tonight.lol.

Don't have much time for hobbies since I got my computer. Used to write the odd bit of poetry and loved reading.
At school I used to love playing the recorder and clarinet.

Ten pin bowling, PS2, caring for my balcony plants, mainly cacti, photography and my favourite...........reading.

I love to treat myself to a day in bed with a really good book........wonderful!!
