I know what you mean Accymel, this afternoon seems to have gone on forever! We normally have ten-pin bowling on Sunday but the new season doesn't start until September.

I've washed the odd pot and trawled the net. Roll on five thirty, I'm going for a beer!

I don't really get bored, but as a treat I sit outside and listen to my neighbour Sarah having sex.

Makes a change from listening to the ducks quacking.

Re: What do you do to cure boredom?

Got me interested when you said symptoms of boredom, looked a few up and ask if you are suffering from any of the following:-

1. Frequent drowsiness.
2. Slow passage of time.
3. Vanity and self-absorbtion
4. Listleness or fatigue.
5. Moderate to severe depression.
6. Lack of commitment to goals and plans.
7. Wishful thinking
8.Preoccupation with romantic or heroic fantasies
9. Vague discontent.

Know you will have fun putting yer' own answers in against these, please feel free, may pass a few minutes...

10. Kicking the furniture dog, cat, children or husband .. that's my addition.

Seems a type of brain disease, but no worries, considered non fatal.

Re: What do you do to cure boredom?

Being bored takes way too much effort for me.

All that huffing and puffing is such a waste of time, and if you live alone has no affect because no one is there to witness it.

Re: What do you do to cure boredom?

It isn't procrastination that is the thief of time, but masterbation...so I'm told.
