Re: What Do You Keep In The Fridg
Bet you all keep your eggs in there. I do as well but there is absolutely no reason to - they don't keep them refridgerated at the supermarket yet we all put them in the fridge when we get home!

Cheese, butter, yoghurts, milk, cooked meats, opened jars like jam etc., salad & stuff in the bottom boxes and unidentified objects that lurk at the back and get whizzed into the bin when discovered.

This is something that interests me (yes I am sad). Read what it says on the egg box and also read this goverment web site. Both say to store in the fridge but I have not seen a shop that does. Next time your in the Co-Op show them the box and ask why they are not following the storage instructions.

Re: What Do You Keep In The Fridg
If you keep eggs in the fridge the shells are more likely to crack when you boil them.
I once kept my car keys in the fridge - for a whole day while I searched the house from top to bottom.

Re: What Do You Keep In The Fridg
i dont keep a right lot in the fridge, only basic stuff and my diet stuff , you shouldnt fill your fridge up or you will use more electricity, cuz its not circulating round it properly. the freezer though, you should fill!!

Yes, I have also been known to put my purse in the fridge whilst unpacking the shopping.

LOL I often agree with you Gayle.
I just can't understand why the box says store in fridge and the shops put them on the shelves in summer.

Re: What Do You Keep In The Fridg
I have just "inspected" Willows fridge and ---OMG
There is 1 yes, one chocolate digestive!
Eight test tubes of "Jungle Elixir" (All the dynamic power of the life force of the Amazon)
Two dead lumps of cheese,
Pepperami sticks
- - - and one large container of "allo vera" (who's Vera?)
Must try to get some real food in there this weekend.

Re: What Do You Keep In The Fridg
There's nothing wrong with that cheese. I had some of it earlier today!
Busman bought the pepperami sticks for me as a stocking filler at Christmas See how romantic he is.
Vera? She is a very refreshing friend of mine.
Now where else should I put that biscuit? I can't leave it just anywhere, the cats might eat it.
I did have some fruit in there but somebody took it out and put it in a plastic box where it has sweated and gorn orf.
