Re: What if.....?
We was going through the "what if " thing the other week when our cat spike got killed! (see journal) what if i hadn't let him out that night, what if the gates had been shut properlywhat if he had been younger?
You cant beat yourself up about it or you will never move on.

Re: What if.....?
I very often think that life is just a series random consequences.
If just one of your one hundred and twenty eight great, great, great, great, great, grandparents hadn't won the heart of the other, you wouldn't be sat here today. Another complex bundle of cells would be sat there in your place instead.

What if all those years ago Gayle I'd have washed my knees, bloody hell we could have been married.

Exactly Mummiboo .. but the comment also is 'if only' which is sadder .. which can beat you up at times .. aaah poor cat .. sorry about that.
Bagpuss: probably had a narrow escape ..
My son has recently told me about a book he has just read called 'Dice Man' whereby a man sets out to make all his decisions on the roll of a dice .. don't know much about it, but sounds fun and could be the answer, then you could only blame the dice and not yerself. Could have those disgusting dangly dice in your car ..

Re: What if.....?
What ifs are living in the past, living in the past does you no good. God knows i should know. Its a painfull cold dark misserable place to spend your life.
Head towards the future, that big bright light, but dont run, just enjoy the journey cos thats heaven.
