Re: What is your favourite holiday destination?
I've been lucky enough to see a lot of the world but my favourite place for a holiday, if the sun's out, is Sandbanks in Dorset, and imparticularly the beach reached by ferry at Studland.
We used to rent a house on the spit of land which connects Sandbanks to the mainland at Poole. On one side you have great views of the English Channel, stretching from the Needles to old Harry. On the otherside it over looked the second largest natural harbour in the world, and had great sunsets.

Loved the Scilly Isles but now anywhere I can put my canoe in and dissapear for a week in the wilderness, Bowron Lakes B.C. has to be one of the best.

Re: What is your favourite holiday destination?
Blackpool is cool, I have a lot of childhood memories there (and adult ones!!) Don't like it when its wet and cold tho. I got scared stiff about four years ago when we went in the haunted house just before you go on the pleasure beach, i lost my shoe so went back for it then all of a sudden freddie krugeur came running after me!! Then you run into the pub where everyone laughs at you!! If you've been in then you'll no what i mean! Apparantly its not half as bad nowadays tho.
