What technology could you not live without?

We're all sat at a computer and no doubt many of us have mobile phones, dishwashers, colour TVs, radio alarm clocks, etc. But what is the one simple invention that you could not live without?

For me, it's my prescription sunglasses. It's the only time of the year when I wear glasses properly which means that I can see clearly. I'm too vain to wear my real glasses all the time and too squeamish to wear contact lenses. I love my prescription sunglasses.

I know it's boring but with the new footy season due to start shortly my sky box is something I could not do without, my wife agrees with the hair straightening irons Tinkerbelle.

For me it is my glasses, my laptop and my radio. They are really essential, the rest I can do without.

I know I can live without most of them because I do when I'm on holiday in a field - but yesterday I had almost a whiole day without internet connection and I was feeling very deprived wondering who may have emailed me and how AccyWeb was getting on and if there was anything interesting I was missing on eBay.

Even on holiday though I would hate to be without my mobile phone.

You can take anything but not my computer and internet. Although I have recently done a 4 day stint without, it isn't something I'm very happy about, even on a beach or in a field!

Actually I could cope without but I would need a lot of money to keep me in the pub all day every day.

Easy....computer and internet......essential to keep in touch with family in Oz......can send pics and gossip.......Oh and fuel my addiction to Accyweb.

My contact lenses;without which I am blind as the proverbial bat.Also my mobile phone has become pretty indispensible over the last 14 days!
