Pity you couldn't mention what happened then isn't it? That would stop rumours. Or, are you hoping folk will turn up out of morbid curiosity for a few pints?
P.S. Nice wardrobe in your Avator.

I always believed that morbid curiosity was good enough reason for putting back a few

Re: What's happened in the calder?
According to the Observer, there has been an allegation of sexual assault from a lady by a male customer in the toilets. The police had closed the pub to preserve the scene, and forensic teams had been called in to collect evidence.

Re: What's happened in the calder?
ah... the manager of the calder,i think the prices in the pub are excellent value, but how come any pint of draught largers taste alot worse than any other pub that are of a higher price.is it because its short dated,or that its not looked after,or because its just palmed off on the same old drunks everyday, also why is the bar always sticky and being the main pub in the town serving food it don t look good the large wet patches on the roof ,which looks like toilet excess don t take all this to critical but it is a concern its easy when your the main player to let standards dip....

Well, I'm not barred from the Calder and the reason for that is that I have never been in there. Nor do I ever intend to - I will stick by my principles and refuse to drink in an old furniture shop while there are proper pubs around the town which are desperate for trade.
You can stick your Calder up your ****.
